Developer & Data Engineer
We are currently seeking a skilled Power BI Developer & Data Engineer to join a dynamic team. This role focuses on creating impactful data solutions and optimizing data flows to deliver high-quality reporting and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
Create and implement ETL processes to ensure smooth data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines for improved performance and data management.
Integrate Power BI with both cloud-based and on-premise data sources to ensure seamless data access and reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytical requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, security, and performance optimization to maintain high standards.
Automate and manage data workflows using Azure Data Factory, Python, or Apache Spark to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Utilize Databricks for advanced data processing and analytics to support more complex requirements (optional but beneficial).
Requirements:
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in Power BI development, SQL, and Data Engineering.
Power BI Skills: Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling.
SQL Skills: Proficient in ETL processes, Performance Tuning, and Stored Procedures.
Data Warehousing & Data Modeling: Experience in designing and managing data structures for efficient reporting.
Cloud Platform Knowledge: Proficiency in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, with a preference for Azure.
Python or Apache Spark: Preferred experience for automation and data processing tasks.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills.
Effective communication skills to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
