Senior IT Project Manager – Internal Projects (Level 4)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate internal initiatives within a complex technology-driven environment. The role involves full responsibility for planning, execution, and delivery of projects in alignment with strategic goals, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Assignment Overview
This consulting assignment requires a senior project leader who can manage a portfolio of internal IT projects. You will be responsible for establishing governance structures, engaging stakeholders, overseeing progress, and mitigating risks. The role includes direct collaboration with internal teams as well as third-party suppliers and involves developing scalable processes and methodologies that support efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning: Define scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources across multiple projects.

• Coordination: Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, align expectations, and ensure effective delivery.

• Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal leadership and team members; provide updates and manage communication.

• Progress Tracking: Monitor milestones, conduct regular status checks, and deliver project reports.

• Governance & Compliance: Ensure alignment with internal procedures and external regulations; manage audits when needed.

• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; escalate critical issues when necessary.

• Team Leadership: Motivate, support, and guide project teams; promote collaboration and continuous improvement.

Basic Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in IT project management, preferably with leadership responsibilities

• Alternatively, a technical degree combined with over 15 years of relevant experience

• Proven ability to manage complex project portfolios

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

• CV must be submitted in English and in Word format, without logos or images

• The consultant must currently reside in Sweden

• Must provide: date of birth, nationality (passport country), and gender in the offer comments

• The offered rate must be gross (before the deduction of the standard 4.23% contractual fee)

Preferred Qualifications

• Swedish language skills are considered an advantage

• Familiarity with common project frameworks and enterprise IT environments

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience with PMO governance and methodology implementation

Additional Notes

• Onsite work is preferred, but partial remote work within Sweden may be possible after the initial period

• Prior to the assignment start, the consultant will be required to pass a drug screening, complete SSG-Entré certification, and sign a confidentiality agreement (NDA)

• The consultant must be employed by the supplying company (no subcontractors allowed)

• The supplier must hold valid liability insurance that covers this type of assignment
