Assignment – Senior Consultant: Requirements and UAT Lead within Card & Payment Solutions

We are looking for a seasoned consultant with a strong background in requirements management and user acceptance testing (UAT), preferably from the financial sector. In this assignment, you will step into a leading role within a complex program focused on card issuing and payment solutions. Your mission will be to bridge business needs with technical solutions while ensuring that the delivered functionality meets expectations in both scope and quality.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and translate business demands into structured, actionable requirements—both functional and non-functional—while maintaining alignment with overarching business goals and technical frameworks.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to collect, analyze, and refine requirements through interviews, workshops, and documentation reviews.

• Perform deep analysis of existing business processes and system environments to ensure requirements are complete and grounded in operational realities.

• Ensure full traceability from initial requirements through to delivered features and tested results, minimizing the risk of gaps or misunderstandings.

• Facilitate cross-functional workshops to validate understanding and alignment, ensuring all teams are working from a shared perspective.

• Develop comprehensive UAT strategies, including scenario design, test cases, and well-defined acceptance criteria based on business workflows.

• Lead the UAT phase by coordinating test execution, defect management, and communication with development teams to ensure resolution of issues.

• Provide clear and ongoing communication to stakeholders at all levels—business users, developers, testers, and senior management—regarding status, risks, and outcomes.

• Monitor and report on testing progress, including metrics around defect resolution and business acceptance.

• Identify and proactively manage risks tied to requirement gathering or acceptance processes, and recommend mitigation plans where necessary.

Profile & Qualifications

• A relevant academic background in Business, IT, Finance, or similar fields.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in requirements management and UAT in the financial sector, ideally with exposure to payment or card-based services.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and structure requirement and acceptance efforts in complex, cross-functional environments.

• A methodical and analytical mindset, with a talent for understanding complex systems and translating them into clear specifications.

• Skilled in using tools and frameworks for requirement documentation and user testing.

• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and communication across business, technical, and executive levels.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and iterative delivery practices.

• Strong personal drive, with the ability to work autonomously and coordinate teams toward common goals.

• Detail-oriented and committed to ensuring high-quality outcomes.

• Experience with card issuing systems, transaction processing, or payment infrastructures is a strong advantage.
