Assignment – Quality Engineering Lead with Focus on CI/CD, Security, and Scalable QA Strategy

We are seeking a technically strong and forward-thinking Quality Engineering Lead to take a strategic and hands-on role in driving quality, test automation, and security practices across several agile delivery teams. This position is ideal for someone passionate about building efficient, secure, and high-performing software pipelines, with a clear vision for continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

In this role, you’ll act as a catalyst for embedding quality and security throughout the development lifecycle—from design to deployment—while promoting a shift-left mindset. You will work collaboratively across teams and domains to define effective strategies, support automation frameworks, and foster a culture of reliability, transparency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Quality Strategy & Governance

• Develop a unified quality strategy that aligns with product roadmaps and delivery targets

• Define meaningful metrics (e.g., defect rates, code coverage, MTTR) and ensure visibility across all teams

• Standardize quality assurance approaches across teams while supporting autonomy and secure development practices

✅ CI/CD & Test Automation

• Partner with DevOps and development teams to embed automated testing, code quality checks, and security validation into CI/CD pipelines

• Set clear standards for quality gates, coverage thresholds, and test reliability

• Optimize feedback loops through intelligent test orchestration and parallel execution

✅ Leadership & Coaching

• Serve as a technical mentor to developers and QA engineers on quality and secure coding best practices

• Lead testability and observability efforts within design phases

• Drive quality planning and risk assessment across release cycles, factoring in security impacts

✅ Test Infrastructure & Tooling

• Guide the architecture and evolution of robust automation frameworks that support different layers of testing

• Introduce and maintain tools for performance testing, static analysis, and vulnerability scanning

• Ensure test platforms are scalable, maintainable, and easily integrated with delivery workflows

✅ Innovation & AI-Driven Quality

• Promote AI/ML-enabled testing tools for defect prediction, smart test case generation, and anomaly detection

• Encourage experimentation with emerging technologies to enhance QA effectiveness and efficiency

• Foster a culture of innovation within quality, security, and DevOps domains
