Assignment – Node.js Software Engineer / Architect (FTC)

We are currently seeking a senior-level Node.js Software Engineer or Software Architect for a focused, time-limited engagement. The purpose of this assignment is to conduct a thorough review and assessment of current technical implementations within two product teams. The consultant will be expected to identify architectural or performance-related inefficiencies and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.

Scope of the Assignment
This full-time consulting role is set for an initial period of 3 months. During this time, the consultant will work closely with internal teams to gain deep insight into the existing systems, diagnose key issues, and suggest improvements that strengthen system performance, maintainability, and architectural soundness.

Key Qualifications

• A degree in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field.

• Extensive expertise in the Node.js ecosystem, including deep understanding of platform capabilities and established best practices.

• Proven experience in conducting performance and architectural reviews of existing backend systems.

• Strong engineering mindset with a focus on clean code, scalability, and performance optimization.

• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, particularly in the context of Node.js-based applications.
