Commercial Advisor – Strategic Partnerships & Business Value Enablement
We are looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Commercial Advisor to support our product organization in driving business value across the entire product lifecycle. In this role, you will bring commercial acumen and strategic insight to guide partnership decisions, shape business cases, and establish efficient collaboration models with external partners.
As a Commercial Advisor, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and executing partnership strategies. You thrive in collaborative, non-hierarchical environments where trust, transparency, and accountability are core values. You are driven by customer-centricity, value creation, and long-term impact, and you take full ownership of results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead commercial negotiations with external partners to secure favorable and sustainable agreements
Evaluate and identify potential partnerships and collaborations that align with product goals and business needs
Work closely with product leaders to define, validate, and strengthen business cases
Recommend and establish suitable collaboration or commercial models that best support strategic outcomes
Oversee partner relationship management, including performance evaluation, risk assessment, and contractual compliance
Design and drive negotiation strategies tailored to the nature of each deal—balancing risk, flexibility, and strategic fit
Structure and lead procurement processes such as RFPs, tenders, and vendor selection activities
Facilitate effective governance structures between internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners to support successful delivery
Continually assess and improve the effectiveness of commercial engagements and external partnerships
Core Competencies & Skills
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to build and evaluate business cases and performance metrics (KPIs)
Strategic thinking—ability to translate commercial objectives into concrete actions and outcomes
Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and driving consensus in complex stakeholder environments
Proactive and pragmatic approach to problem-solving with a clear focus on execution and results
Exceptional communication skills; able to challenge constructively and influence decision-making at all levels
Experience with a wide range of deal structures and commercial models
Ability to lead cross-functional efforts and build alignment across disciplines
Strong initiative and self-motivation; takes ownership of outcomes and continuously seeks improvement
International experience in complex deal-making and multi-market collaboration is highly valuable
