Customer Support Engineer
Assignment: Customer Support Engineer – Full-Time Onsite in Gothenburg
A skilled Customer Support Engineer is needed for a full-time onsite position in Gothenburg. This role focuses on ensuring excellent support for both external and internal customers in all quality-related matters, with the primary goal of maintaining high customer satisfaction and driving continuous improvement.
Role Overview
As a Customer Support Engineer, you will act as the main contact for quality issues, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed quickly and effectively. You will coordinate communication between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring preventive measures are implemented and that all processes comply with company policies and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct support to local customers, offering solutions to quality-related issues and preventing production interruptions.
Serve as the Voice of the Customer, sharing feedback and supporting internal investigations when required.
Collect and analyze problems together with customers and initiate immediate and permanent corrective actions.
Facilitate communication and meetings with all involved parties to define and implement appropriate solutions.
Coordinate containment activities such as sorting or repair work, including risk assessments and approvals.
Conduct root cause analyses and report findings using tools such as 8D and 4Q reports, customer complaint databases, and internal quality systems.
Drive preventive actions to eliminate non-conformities and ensure continuous improvement of products and processes.
Maintain access to customer and internal portals, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Support prototype production, new vehicle launches, and warranty-related analyses.
Qualifications
Experience: 2–3 years within the automotive sector combined with engineering or quality-related work.
Strong technical understanding of automotive systems and quality processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently or in teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in using quality and customer reporting systems.
Strong communication abilities in both Swedish and English (advanced level) with a diplomatic and structured approach.
Flexible, organized, and prepared to travel when needed.
