Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled Basic Software Engineer to work with advanced embedded systems for automotive applications. The role focuses on the design and development of platform-level software, including low-level and middleware components, for electronic control units (ECUs) used in powertrain solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex platform software for powertrain ECUs, from prototype stage to full production.

• Participate in the complete software development cycle: requirements analysis, architectural and detailed design, estimation, implementation, unit testing, integration testing, documentation, and code reviews.

• Implement software based on the AUTOSAR architecture for electronic control units.

• Provide design, development, and debugging support to integrate individual functions into the ECU.

• Take responsibility for creating highly reliable and safety-critical components for electric vehicle systems.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with software version control tools such as SVN or Git.

• Strong programming experience in C or C++, with excellent embedded C skills including compiler and linker knowledge.

• Familiarity with issue tracking, configuration management, and test management tools.

• Practical experience with on-chip debugging tools and troubleshooting of both hardware and software.

• Understanding of operating system coding techniques, communication protocols (UART, CAN, SPI, LIN), and hardware interfaces.

• Ability to develop low-level drivers for microcontroller peripherals such as DI, DO, ADC, DAC, Timer, PWM, DMA, and Watchdog.

• Experience with Agile development methods (Scrum or Kanban).

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
