Embedded Software Application Engineer

Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Application Engineer to take on a combined role with both leadership and technical responsibility. You will play a central part in guiding the team, removing obstacles, securing deliveries, and leading agile routines. In parallel, you will oversee the full lifecycle of ECUs and embedded software, from requirement handling and planning to release and maintenance. The role also includes coordinating development activities, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, cost, and time targets, and contributing to integration, testing, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support, coach, and guide the team in daily work

• Lead agile routines and ensure deliveries are secured

• Manage the lifecycle of ECUs and embedded software (requirements, planning, release, maintenance)

• Coordinate development activities and align with project goals

• Ensure compliance with technical, quality, cost, and time objectives

• Contribute to integration and testing of embedded solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Documented leadership background with proven ability to guide teams

• Strong communication skills combined with analytical and problem-solving ability

• Practical experience in embedded software and hardware development within the automotive sector

• Familiarity with ECU functions and related technical areas

• Academic degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in software, electrical engineering, or similar field

• Knowledge of safety standards such as ISO 26262

• Proficiency with tools, processes, and systems used in embedded development

• Structured, proactive mindset with ability to collaborate effectively
