Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner who will also take on the responsibilities of Scrum Master to lead a talented team of 7 software developers. In this dual role, you will be the driving force behind delivering high-quality software that meets customer expectations, ensuring the development process remains aligned with business goals.

As part of the Surveillance business area, you will play a key role in ensuring the continuous evolution and integration of technologies and platforms, guaranteeing future capabilities and consistent delivery.

Your core responsibility will be to enhance the development environment by providing the necessary tools, methods, and infrastructure that will boost both efficiency and security, all while maintaining software excellence and information assurance at the center of our ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a dynamic software development team of 7 developers, ensuring all team activities align with project goals.

• Act as both Product Owner and Scrum Master, guiding the team through the Agile/Scrum methodologies and ensuring effective backlog prioritization and task execution.

• Conduct daily stand-ups to monitor progress, identify potential roadblocks, and provide ongoing support to ensure continuous momentum.

• Manage delegation of features and tasks within the team, ensuring that all user stories and epics are accurately captured and updated in Jira.

• Collaborate with the Product Lead and customer SPOCs to collect and define requirements, ensuring that these requirements are clearly articulated, prioritized, and tracked.

• Develop and maintain the product roadmap, identifying areas for product improvement and providing valuable input for strategic planning.

Your Profile:

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or another related technical field.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, with a solid understanding of its operations.

• Container technologies (such as Docker, Podman) in Linux environments, including experience in container orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Solid hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, and familiarity with Scrum practices like backlog management, sprint planning, and velocity tracking.

• Strong experience using Jira for managing backlogs, sprints, and team tasks.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with clear communication abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in Operations (Maintenance & Governance), ensuring the ongoing support and enhancement of systems post-launch.

• Familiarity with artifact stores and version control tools such as GIT or similar.

• CI/CD experience, including using tools like Jenkins, GitLab Runners, and familiarity with DevOps pipelines.

• Proficiency in DevOps principles, enhancing the development and operational integration.

• Experience with product development and roadmap planning, especially in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Additional Information:

• Occasional travel may be required.

• This is a full-time on-site role, with continuous candidate selection. There are excellent opportunities for extending the assignment based on performance and project needs.
