Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a specialized analytics team focused on high voltage batteries, vehicle charging, and electric drive systems. You will work with large-scale fleet data to generate actionable insights that directly influence product quality and the customer experience. This is a hands-on technical role in a collaborative, data-driven environment where your work will have a direct impact on the next generation of electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform statistical analyses of fleet data to support stakeholders in understanding vehicle behavior

• Develop predictive models for vehicle systems using machine learning and statistical methods

• Build visualizations and dashboards to communicate complex results clearly to developers and product designers

• Write clean, readable, and well-structured Python code following best practices

• Review and provide feedback on colleagues' code

• Enable automated, continuous feedback loops on software and hardware quality

• Contribute to ETL pipelines and data processing workflows

Requirements

• Strong experience in exploratory and confirmatory data analysis

• Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and ETL pipeline development

• Hands-on experience with visualization libraries, specifically matplotlib and seaborn

• High-quality Python development skills following software engineering best practices

• Solid knowledge of scientific computing libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and Polars

• Working knowledge of Git and version control workflows

• Experience with computing platforms such as Databricks and Jupyter

Meriting

• Experience within the automotive or vehicle diagnostics domain

• Knowledge of high voltage battery design, analytics, assembly, or repair

• Applied machine learning and statistical modeling experience

• Experience developing software in Linux environments

• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS
