About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer with deep expertise in establishing and operating test environments within complex industrial and manufacturing ecosystems. This is a hands-on, operationally focused role where you will take ownership of end-to-end test environment setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance across MES, SCADA, and IoT layers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and configuration of end-to-end test environments supporting integrations across MES, SCADA, and IoT layers

• Validate manufacturing flows, data consistency, and system integrations between MES, SCADA, and connected factory systems, including real-time communication and event handling

• Test and validate MQTT-based communication with focus on reliability, latency, and data integrity

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve test environments to support ongoing releases and defect resolution

• Manage configuration and environment stability, ensuring version alignment and availability across systems and interfaces

• Collaborate closely with development teams, factory stakeholders, and IT/OT functions to ensure stable and efficient integration flows

Requirements

• Strong experience in test environment setup within complex, multi-system landscapes

• Hands-on experience with MES systems, preferably EBBA or equivalent

• Experience with SCADA integrations

• Practical experience with MQTT or similar messaging protocols

• Documented experience in system integration testing (SIT) and end-to-end testing

• Solid understanding of environment configuration and management

• Ability to work in an operational, hands-on delivery role with close collaboration across technical and business stakeholders

Meriting

• Experience from industrial or manufacturing environments

• Background in IT/OT integration

• Familiarity with factory automation systems and connected factory ecosystems
